MARCEL GATTEAUX EXHIBITION

EXTENDED DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND UNTIL END SEPTEMBER!!

We are delighted to announce that Marcel Gatteaux, a London born artist, will be exhibiting a
collection of his artwork at the Yacht Club from 2nd April—27th June. 

The outstanding collection of post-impressionist pictures are inspired by Gatteaux’s travels throughout Mallorca, from the wildflower meadows of Felanitx and Santanyi, the colourful marinas of
Cala d’Or and Porto Petro, the beauty of Mondrago National Park to the breathtaking views
of Cabrera—returning each season to capture the changing light and colours of the landscapes.

Throughout the duration of the exhibition, we will be running a raffle draw—the prize being a
fantastic Marcel Gatteaux original painting. This will be drawn at our CHARITY DAY on Thursday 5th August.  Ask at reception for your entry form.

YACHT CLUB CALA D'OR SUMMER EXHIBITION OF MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART

We are delighted to have this opportunity to showcase a wide range of Modern and Contemporary art from the 20th & 21st century in our summer show at the Yacht Club Cala D’Or.

The exhibition will feature new paintings by Marcel Gatteaux including Mallorca, Provence and the Greek Islands. A breathtaking collection of marine paintings by two leading British contemporary artists, Colourful Still Life’s and nudes, and an  interesting selection of watercolours and drawings  ideal  to decorate your Mallorca home or boat!

     

The  exhibition  also  features  rare  and  limited  edition  lithographs  including works  by  Picasso, Matisse, Modigliani, Klee and Boudin.

More than 150 oil paintings and works on paper will be exhibited during the show, with new works being displayed as space becomes available.
